Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan. It is a beautiful city full of delightful scenes. The lofty shopping plazas and amusements parks are great attraction for visitors and tourists. The surface of Islamabad city is not plain but the ups-and-downs make it more interesting. One day, I was assigned the task to write an essay on "My Visit To Islamabad" by my jovial maternal J Uncle. Having found the calm and quiet corner in one of the rooms in his house located in Private Housing Colony (name not mentioned), I commenced to write the essay.
When my journey towards Islamabad lasted, it was Thursday afternoon. Having reached the Faizabad station(bus station), the arrival of my J Uncle was delayed by 10 minutes who was on his way to pick me up. In the car, I was met by a jolly uncle-friend of my J Uncle. We had a bit of chit-chat until he was dropped in front of his house. On reaching the J Uncles' house, I was met by five radiant faces-three shining stars, dazzling princess and, noble and loving aunt. The same day, H Uncle and his family arrived.
Next day, we offered Juma Prayer and played hide-and-seek in the evening whereas the H Uncle departed for Nathia Gali(mountain resort town or hill station) along with his family.
On Saturday, the dazzling princess got admission in new school. We set off to visit the gigantic shopping mall "The Centaurus". It was the masterpiece of architecture skills and beauty. The glittering shops and, cafes and restaurants were source of entertainment for visitors. We also visited F-9 park and played football and cricket. The sportsman skills of my J Uncle were exhibited and they speaks volumes of his versatility in every field. We offered Magrib prayer in Faisal Mosque. The grandeur of the palace and ornamentation particularly impressed me.
On Sunday, the naughty and wicked chimpanzee welcomed H Uncle and nine youngsters with his spits and dispersed soil in the Zoo. After that we visited Safari Park that was desolated (undergoing some sort of renovation). The absence of animals and rugged place was very disappointing. Later, we visited Japanese Park and Lake View Park. My utmost desire to visit Pir Sohawa(tourist resort,3000+ ft elevation) was crowned. Standing at the peak of Pir Sohawa, the captivating and bewitching scenes of Islamabad city at night among flashes of lightening, bursts of thunder followed by heavy rain was very awesome. We ate dinner at "The Monal Restaurant".
For the next three days, we played in the park at evening. The visits to the roof with my cousin Abdul Rehman were entertaining. Those visits were full of terror of the sudden arrival of J Uncle as he could admonish us because we were forbidden to visit the boundless roof. Fortunately, we never got caught. The shrieks and yells of cousins followed by fights were quiet amusing and entertaining. After staying for eight days, I set off for my home with a bulk of memories, I may say Treasure.
